For up to fifteen lucky applicants, the future holds a world of possibility. With sites the length and breadth of the UK, European attractions and ongoing growth plans in the USA, there’ll be plenty of opportunity to spread your wings and show us what you can do.
So for two years, you’ll get the complete graduate experience. That means rubbing shoulders with our leadership team, following a bespoke career path and making real contributions to our success. And of course, you’ll get to work at some of the best leisure attractions in the world.
Year in. Year out.
Your first year is all about understanding the business. You’ll have one placement lasting six months, two others each lasting three and all the support you could wish for. You might find yourself managing a retail unit in one of our many attractions. Or maybe you’ll make your presence felt behind the scenes in Marketing or HR. Wherever you find yourself, one thing’s for sure – it’ll be an experience you’ll never forget. What’s more, we do everything we can to match you with the placements that suit your every need.
After that, it’s your second year and a great chance to really make your mark. You’ll take a look at how you’ve progressed and follow your chosen path. Then it’s just a case of getting stuck in. At the end of it all, you’ll make a presentation to the CEO and leadership team, sit down with us and map out your future at Merlin.
But we wouldn’t let you get away with it being that simple. So it’s only right we throw in a few surprises here and there. In a fast paced industry like ours, we need to be sure you can handle any situation. Like the challenge of an unexpected visit from one of our directors. Or the thrill of a secret out-of-office team task. And the rest? Well, you’ll just have to find out for yourself.

As for our ideal candidate, there are a few things that’ll work in your favour. You’ve got to be ready to roll your sleeves up. You’ve got to be the sort of character that doesn’t mind speaking out. You’ve got to be flexible in terms of where you’ll be working. You’ve got to be an achiever – academically and socially. And, of course, you’ve got to have a great sense of fun.
